Kate Campbell, Australia’s personal finance and podcast host extraordinaire, is giving away 1,000 personal finance books. We love what Kate is doing for her community at Rask, How To Money and further abroad, in support of financial education everywhere.

Why is this goal important to Kate?
My goal is to giveaway 1,000 personal finance, business and investing books to Australians over the next decade (although it might happen much quicker than that now Owen’s onboard).
This is an important mission to me because I believe that books can change lives. Whether that’s through sparking an interest that wasn’t there before, opening up new conversations or providing you with the confidence you need to move forward, something as simple as a book can make a huge difference.
Money is a hard topic to talk about for many of us but a book can be a gentle introduction to some of the topics you’ll need to know to get you started on your own financial journey.
How is Kate going to do this?
Gee – giving away 1,000 books sounds pretty crazy, right? Well, I’m probably a little mad, but through some great sponsors, an awesome company, donations from authors and using funds received through various brand partnerships I’m involved with, I’m going to make it happen.
Most of the books will be given away through giveaways, events, workshops and I’m hoping to distribute books to regional public schools and libraries as well!
These books will range across the basics of personal finance and investing, to important skills like decision making and understanding your money mindset. Some of the books I love gifting include The Psychology of Money, Money School, Budgets Don’t Work (But This Does), Smashed Avocado, Shareplicity, The Behavioral Investor, How To Decide and Future Fit.
