Nothing is fluffed and I love the use of a real-life example throughout the tutorials. I found this course useful as an absolute beginner. I really liked using a real world example and using Woolies was great as I know what the business does and was able to understand Owen’s explanations. However some of the videos were very quiet which made it difficult to listen to. Also the spreadsheet I downloaded didn’t have Owen’s explanatory notes like the video spreadsheet had. This was very disappointing as they were useful to remind how/why figures were used.

After number of years of buy & hold or speculating (i.e. no plan/structure on process), to currently systematic trading (very structured, though has taken a beating of late). Now looking to add a more stable portfolio to the mix for diversification and as a long term low turnover portfolio that will slowly grow to counter the trading portfolio. Having been inspired by your Selfwealth LIVE webinars, this course provided the tools to add to the long term investing analysis toolbox. Though as others have mentioned, explanatory notes would have been helpful if they were still in google doc but for the content and the fee, 5 * is only fitting.

Thanks Owen. As a intermediate investor I find this course very useful. I always want to know more about other valuation models and your tutorials have definitely broaden my horizon. What I also find facinating is that your template has captured the outputs of different models with individual weightings. As Owen you mentioned, it’s not just about the numbers but the assumptions behind the numbers, so I am trying to read through financial reports to understand how a particular business operates and how its future is going to be. It would be extremely helpful if you could produce a course to help some serious investors to navigate through company annual reports and understand financial related notes.
