The Rask Budget calculator tells you how much you should be spending on your essentials (“needs”), personal spending (“wants”), holidays (10%) and saving/investing (20%) for your future.
It also tells you how much you should be saving as an emergency cash buffer (for rainy days). In our courses, we call the emergency savings our Go Bag.
Just like a spy who has a secret bag with 6 passports, cash and a weapon, our Go Bag is there just in case we need it.
